The author of this blog is Mary O’Brien – Executive Director of Irish Landmark Trust since 1998.   I have been a part of Irish Landmark since it was founded.  The first Executive Director, Terry Kelly, and I had worked together in another organisation previously, and when Terry was invited to come on board and be the first Executive Director, I was more than happy to join her.  My particular skills are organisation management.  Terry was by far the more visionary of the two of us – it was her drive and commitment that ensured Irish Landmark had a solid beginning.
